Tulsa Home & Garden Show set for March 9-12at River Spirit Expo at Expo Square!
Oklahoma’s largest home and garden show
Tulsa, Okla. – Spring is in the air and it’s time to start creating your home improvement list. Oklahoma’s largest home and garden products trade show is back and the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa’s signature show is one you don’t want to miss. With 500 home improvement exhibitors offering ideas, expert advice and the latest product innovations for your home or garden, the Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show is the home improvement event of the year. Tulsa’s largest and longest-running home and garden show will kick off Thursday, March 9 through Sunday, March 12, at the River Spirit Expo at Expo Square. Presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa and sponsored by Arvest Bank, the Tulsa Home & Garden Show offers a one-stop shop for all things home or garden, showcasing hundreds of ideas and the latest trends, as well as fun features for the whole family.
This year our theme is “Tulsa’s Time” inspired to engage the community in the great things happening in town and the Show is one of them! Our show is the perfect place to explore your home improvement ideas, with over 350,000 square feet of exhibits for everything from the front door to the backyard. Attendees can discover the latest products, get inspired by exhibits and speak first-hand to experts, all under one roof! Plus, shoppers can take advantage of exhibitor deals and specials exclusive to the event.
Garden Showcase: Explore an expanded 14,000 square-foot garden display, created by 16 local landscaping companies. This new exhibit will give the illusion that you stepped into a backyard retreat that will both inspire and amaze you. The area will showcase the latest trends in outdoor design, such as water features, pergolas and landscaping material. Anchoring the display will be the Tulsa Master Gardeners, with an educational and creative booth that will delight attendees of all ages.
Outside Space: We are excited to announce that we have added exhibit space outside this year! This space will feature hot items such as container homes and small manufactured homes. There will also be a tiny home built my members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa that supports the Foundation for Tulsa Schools!
Center Feature: Ted Siebert, the sand sculptor, will be back again this year doing an oversized sculpture of the downtown Tulsa Skyline with the first responder badges incorporated into the design to celebrate our theme “Tulsa’s Time”. There will also be a river running through the sculpture. He will be there sculpting through Saturday of the show so come by and see him in action!
Entrances: John Madden with J. Madden Homes, 2017 Greater Tulsa Home & Garden chairman, wanted to recognize all the military branches this year. Each of our entrances will be dedicated to a branch of the military. We have top notch designers working on this and it’s sure to impress as you walk in the doors. We are also offering $1 off admission to any veterans. Thank you for your service!
Poster: Our poster this year is a true work of art. John Hammer, a local artist, painted the image of the poster exclusively for the Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show. We will have a limited amount of posters available for sale at the show. The proceeds from the poster sales will go to the Tulsa Girls Art School.
Floral Sales: Attendees can brighten up their homes and the lives of local children by purchasing bouquets and flowering plants, which will be sold on-site by Reasor’s. The HBA has partnered with Reasor’s to sell the plants to raise money for the Community Food Bank’s Food For Kids Program. Reasor’s will generously donate 100 percent of the proceeds from stem sales to the cause.
“If you are planning a home improvement project, or simply looking for ideas, you can’t afford to miss the Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show,” said John Madden, a volunteer from J. Madden Homes and Chair of the 2017Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show. “In addition to all of the great exhibits that have become a Tulsa Tradition, we are proud to be partnering again with the News on 6 and Reasor’s to help raise money for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s Food For Kids program.
